Just a little background. This script is for a sketchbook contest at Uggabugga.net. You had to write a two page script based on the Batgirl picture (see the thread). Then it would make sense hehe. Enjoy!
Page 1
Panel 1- Batgirl (BG) is removing a small test tube with a long cotton bud in it (for samples), she’s looking closely at the blood stain. Behind her, the Vampire has moved nearer, his arms coming closer, as if aiming to strangle her.
BG- BETTER GET A SAMPLE OF THIS SO I CAN TEST IT BACK AT THE LAB.
Panel 2- BG has noticed the looming shadow of the vampire from behind her. She starts reaching for something on her utility belt. The vampire is almost there. The test tube is on the grave now.
Panel 3- Vampire’s hands is curled around, as if to strangle BG but BG is spinning around, her fist flying towards his head, avoiding his hands. Vampire’s expression is one of angry surprise.
Panel 4- BG hits him hard in the head but the vampire barely blinks.
SFX- POWWW..
Panel 5- Vampire is hitting BG back, she’s flying across the ground, it’s clearly a powerful punch.
BG- UGH..
Page 2
Panel 1- BG is lying stunned at the bottom of a gnarly, leafless tree. Vampire is coming at her at an amazing speed.
BG- MUST.. GET.. UP..
Panel 2 (small)- BG is stumbling to get up leaning against the tree to help her stand.
Panel 3- Vampire just leaping over BG to football tackle her. We can just make out BG’s hand curled over a thick pointy branch.
Panel 4- Vampire in midair getting stabbed by BG right in the heart with that branch. Blood spurting out from the wound. BG is splattered with some blood. Vampire looks shocked.
Panel 5- The dead Vampire lying on the ground with the branch sticking out of his chest. BG’s standing next to him, her cape flying in the wind. Blood spatter still can be seen on her.
BG- I HATE BEING INTERRUPTED WHEN I’M WORKING.
